Current Initiatives

In its ongoing commitment to increase the number of underrepresented Latino medical students, the Boricua and Latino Health Organization (BLHO) of Weill Medical College of Cornell University is extending its services to interested applicants who are currently going or will be going through the medical school application process during the every application year. We are looking for applicants who believe they have the academic and interpersonal qualifications to be admitted into any accredited medical school in the United States. Included in the services we are providing are: Proofreading and suggestions on the AMCAS application, mock interviews, day visits and tours of our school, and regarding questions about the admissions process at our school via email or in person. We have dedicated this year to increasing the presence of Latino students at Cornell and other medical schools. Below is the information that aspiring medical students can use to contact us.
